Current time in Port Moresby and throughout Papua New Guinea (PNG):

Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea, and Bougainville, an autonomous region of Papua New Guinea, both observe Papua New Guinea Time (PGT). PGT is 10 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+10). Port Moresby and Bougainville are situated in the same time zone, but it's worth noting that Bougainville has proposed its own time zone known as Bougainville Standard Time (BST), which would be one hour ahead of PGT (UTC+11). However, as of my last update, this proposal had not been implemented, and both regions continue to operate on PGT. Consequently, residents and visitors in both Port Moresby and Bougainville can expect consistent timekeeping practices, facilitating ease of coordination and communication across the region.
