About the Goroka Flag
The Goroka flag, also known as the flag of the Eastern Highlands, features a design of red and green triangles. At the center of the flag is a large yellow star with a picture of a famous one-legged man named Nokondi, who is holding a branch of coffee, the region's most important crop. The big star has six points representing the six districts of the area. Around it, there are eight smaller stars that symbolize the local government councils.
